RRR 1000 Crore Success Party: Jr NTR Says ‘Fans Demanding For A Sequel Is Fair', Actor Jokes 'If SS Rajamouli Doesn’t Make It, People Will Kill Him’
During the success party of RRR, Jr NTR says fans are demanding a sequel of RRR just like Baahubali
SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is roaring at the box office and how. After the pandemic, RRR has become the highest opener film and has broken all records by earning 1000 crore worldwide. The thunderous response from the viewers has even left the maker and stars stunned as they knew that film will do well, but they didn’t expect that RRR will smash all the box-office records. Recently, Jr NTR at the success bash of the film demanded a sequel to RRR.
On Wednesday, to celebrate the grand success of the film, an event was organized by Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios. During the event, Jr NTR joked with the director and said fans are demanding a sequel for the film which is fair. While interacting with the media, the actor was in a fun mood and was quoted saying, “I'm pretty sure that if he doesn't make a sequel, you're going to kill him for sure. He needs to make RRR 2, there needs to be a conclusion to this also! I was speaking to a journalist and I don't know how but I said RRR franchise. So, hopefully, it becomes true. He should make RRR 2.”
SS Rajamouli in response told the reporters, “Let it cool down. Of course, for me it would be a great pleasure, not because of what it'll do at the box office, but because I will have more time to spend with my brothers”.
During the media interaction when a reporter asked Ram Charan about overshadowing Jr NTR and walking away with all the accolades, he shoots down all the questions and called it a false claim. Ram Charan said, “No ma’am, I don’t believe that at all. Not even for a second. We both have excelled beautifully and Tarak was fantastic. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed working in a film as much as RRR. What I take back from RRR is my journey with Bheem, my journey with Tarak. I shall never ever forget.”
The success bash was held in Mumbai where Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Huma Qureshi, Javed Akhtar, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and veteran actor Jeetendra marked their presence and celebrated the milestone RRR achieved.
